Why go to a Track Day?
The main reason to go to a track day is safety. You don’t have to worry about oncoming traffic or speeding tickets. On the track, you can concentrate on riding your bike instead of all the other things that can happen on the street. You will start learning new techniques because you have all the time in the world to experiment. You can try a different corner entry speed, different lines through a corner, different braking points, different body positions, all in the same turn, until you find what works. As with anything else, practice makes perfect. The skills you pick up on the track will make you safer and better rider on the street.
What Makes Motoyard Track Days Different?
Safety
We care about your safety, and it is at the top of our list. We’ve seen many of our friends get hurt, and we want to show people that there is a safer place than the canyons to ride a sport bike. We always have the most experienced corner workers, the fastest crash truck team, and the best ambulance services at all of our track days.
Experienced track day staff
All our track day staff is either racers or retired racers. We’ve all been around the track for a long time. Some of our staff has been working at race tracks for over 25 years and some have raced that long. Don’t let our relatively new track day organization fool you – we know the race track in and out.
Best friendly atmosphere
We know the race track can be intimidating for new track riders, and we also know we can’t exist without you – the track day goers. We do everything we possibly can to make sure everyone leaves our track days happy. There is no pressure – it’s your track day, and you should enjoy it. We’ve been known to go far out of our way to make everyone happy – just read some reviews and forums about us.
Free instruction
We know there are two main reasons people go to track days – safety and to learn new skills. Learning new skills will in return make you a safer, better and faster rider. We offer free instruction to anyone who is interested, no pressure. If you want to learn from one of our veteran racer staff, just ask and we’ll be more than glad to show you whatever you want to know – be it the best line through a turn or how to position your body through one.
Trackside services
We try to provide everything anyone would need at a track day. We always have a tire vendor at our track days, as well as a suspension specialist. Most of the time, tire prices are lower at the track because you are buying directly from a distributor, instead of a store (the middle man). As for the suspension, there is no better place to test out your suspension than the track. You can try things, go back, make adjustments, and compare apples to apples, just like every racer does. We also do other little things like give out free drinks and snacks all day – no charge.
We do it because we love it
We do track days because we love riding motorcycles as much as you do. Most people that come to our track days, come back because they had a great time, and that is what makes it all worthwhile for us.
